New Cottage
Now its time to start yet another chapter in life. I will soon be moving from the lake and leaving so much of the things I have enjoyed. There are a lot of memories made there over the past 16 years. Kris will be able to keep the Lakehouse where one day our grand children will learn how to swim.
As for me, I have found a cute house in old downtown Corinth. With a hint of Craftsman Bungalow that I have grown so fond of, it has a lot of potential to be converted into an architectural cottage. Guest bedrooms for my girls to stay in when they visit and a master bedroom that lets out onto a large back yard, Gracy and Spike will find room to make their new home. Detached from the house is a 400 sqft apartment and 2 car carport. The apartment will be perfect to convert into a woodshop. With Julie, Duke, and John within blocks, and a close knit friendly neighborhood, I am sure there will be many cookouts on the back patio.

Looks good!! Congratulations!!!!
The glass/screen door attracts too much attention (since you asked). Maybe a more complementary glass door (change the color to match the door), if needed, to see a beautiful crafted door with wood panes on either side (if enough room to).
Later for finishing touches, you could add a long planter or two and/or statues to set atop the stairs. I'm going to hit Rachel's as soon as I can to get two cement acorns for my home to make up for the boxwoods I cut down.
Again, I'm happy for you.
